Our Thanksgiving Weekend

This is going to be short because I am exhausted and I have a cold :) We had a great holiday weekend. It started with my Dad, Step-mom and sisters coming to Fort Wayne to visit us for a few days before Thanksgiving. We all had a good time playing games and watching Landon be the center of attention. Chris, Landon and I went down to Indy and had Thanksgiving at my Mom's house on Thursday and then went to Bloomington to see my dad's side of the family. We went to Bloomington again on Friday for a short visit before my dad headed back to Colorado. Then on Saturday, we celebrated Thanksgiving with Chris' family and headed back home Sunday. We put up our Christmas Tree on Sunday afternoon and really had good time doing so. It was so fun to watch how excited Landon is this year and how much more aware of things he is about Christmas. I can't wait for Christmas to actually get here...we've been talking about Santa since May as Landon has an "I Spy" book that is Christmas themed and we have been reading it for months. Then lately, we have been reading Polar Express or "polarspress" as Landon calls it. I think we are all getting into the spirit of things. We are very thankful for all of our families and loved spending time with them over this past holiday and we look forward to visiting more over Christmas break! Enjoy the few pictures I am posting. This past weekend was an eventful one. We drove down for Mason's birthday party that was on Saturday. I wasn't feeling too great that morning and got sick, which I hadn't done in a while. I got sick again on the way to the party, then again when we got back to June and Mark's after the party, then again right before we took off back to Fort Wayne. I just couldn't figure out what was going on. From there, I got sick about every ten miles on the interstate as Chris pulled over, no kidding, about 14 times. I got sick a total of 20 times Saturday and late that night decided that it was time to go to the E.R. I was given two liters of fluid and some meds to keep me from throwing up. We were there for about four hours and then headed home. It took me a couple days to recover; I was so sore from getting sick so many times. Anywho...I was to follow up with my doctor. So, today we went to the doctor to make sure everything was alright with the baby after Saturday. Everything

numbers: 34 and 2 going on 12

So...34 is how many weeks pregnant I am and I am excited because that means we only have six more weeks until we meet our sweet litte...you thought I was going to say her name...yeah right. We do have a name, but we have to keep it a secret. It's only right seeing that we did the same thing when we had Landon. I had my 34 week check-up on Tuesday and FINALLY saw my doctor for the second time since I found out I was pregnant. I have been meeting with the nurse practitioner/midwife which I am fine with. I am just ready to start seeing my doctor from here on out because, she is the one delivering the baby and I want to gain some confidence with her again. Everything checked out great and things look good this far and I suppose that's what's most important. Anywho...there is this lady that drives me crazy that checks me in, gets my weight, blood pressure...etc. She just says the wrong things at the wrong time. This time was no different. One more makes a family of four!

That's right. Chris and I found out a few weeks ago that we are expecting our second little one around mid February. We are very excited! There are still a few of you out there that I wish I could tell other than on our blogspot, but this is the best way for me right now. I have been feeling REALLY crummy and I just can't kick the all day morning sickness. I just wish there was something that I could eat or take and it would give me a break. I know it will be worth it, but it's much more difficult being sick and watching after a toddler. Thank goodness I have the most amazing husband in the world that has really taken on both roles as mom and dad and give me a break when I need one. We couldn't be happier with idea of having two. We are really pushing these milestones and Landon is taking them VERY well! Now, if ice cream cured morning sickness...I would be in good shape (well, not physically and then again maybe that's why it doesn't help). Hope you all enjoyed
