First off... Friday, I took the kids to the mall just to walk around and MAYBE look at getting the kids some new tennis shoes for summer. Well, you'd think I would have put a little more thought into this knowing I wasn't going to leave a shoe store without my children wanting a pair of shoes. So, I gave in and bought them each a pair of new tennis shoes. Alexa is now in a size 8 and these are the shoes she chose: Landon is now in a size 13!!!!!! Are you kidding me?!? I think I wore a size 13 in the third grade. Here are the shoes he chose: One of my favorite things is the one on one time that I get the chance to have with Alexa while Landon is at preschool. This was something that I really wanted the chance to have since I had that with Landon before Alexa was born. Here are some pictures of Alexa and I enjoying our time together: Finally... Landon had his tonsils, adenoids taken out and tubes put in his ears on Monday morning. I was an absolute nervouse wreck but did better t

Spring!

Well, Spring has arrived and just as quickly as it came, the weather turned COLD! What a tease! We played outside for days and now it's driving the kids (and me) crazy! Thank you Chris for letting me humiliate you in the source of video...large moths in the garage, stick horse races....and I'm sure there will be more in the future. I love you! Here is THE video of a horse race! I apologize that you a

(sorry the pics are horrible quality because they were taken with our phones...my camera is on the outs :( ) We celebrated Alexa's second birthday and it went really well:) She is living up to her age and makes us laugh every single day. She is so funny! She also is very interested in potty training herself. I on the other hand was not ready for the transition, but who am I to keep her from that milestone. I know that if I prolong it, I will regret this moment of her willingness. HOWEVER....she is quite the diva about this potty training stuff. One day, I can have her in underwear with no accidents all day long with her telling me when she has to go to the bathroom and with a dry pull up from nap time. The next day, she will decide she's not that into the whole going on the potty thing and will have five accidents. So, even though it's been an energy zapper for me, I have had to really push her on her "diva" days and be consistent. She has ha
