Stats

Just wanted to make a quick post. Landon had his 24 month check-up yesterday and boy is he getting smart. When we walked into our room that the doctor was going to meet us in, Landon said, "hurt?". I told him he wasn't going to get hurt today. The strange thing is, we hadn't been to the doctor since his 18 month check-up and I don't think he even got any shots. Well, I felt pretty bad after telling him that he wasn't going to get "hurt" because I forgot it was that time of year for his flu shot. I just avoided it. So, Landon's stats... He is weighing in at 31 1/2 pounds and is 36 1/2 inches tall. He gained about 6 pounds since his last check-up and grew 3 inches. This puts him in the 90th percentile for height and 85th percentile for weight. I was shocked to see that he was in the 85th percentile for weight because he seems so thin to me. I suppose it's because he is so tall. The doctor seemed pleased with everything and said he checked out v

Happy 2nd Birthday Landon!

I have become a perfectionist at counting to three and run circles around our kitchen to get the glue back that was taken from our junk drawer. I have used three or four towels to wipe up ALL the water that somehow escaped the bathtub during bathtime. I have answered "doing?" more times than I could possibly count and responded to "huh?" probably more. I have cried from exhaustion after bedtime didn't go so well and laughed because my son somehow found my red lipstick and decided it looked better on him. But would I change any of this? Not for a minute. Today is Landon's second birthday and as I sit and reflect on how much he has changed in the past two years, I am amazed. Have two years really gone by that quickly? Is he really not a baby anymore? What a little man we have and how proud of him we are. He is such a sponge right now and says EVERYTHING he hears. He has to do everything all on his own regardless if it takes 20 minutes to do it. He has his dadd

Little Dylan

Just wanted to post something real quick. One of my highschool friends has a little boy, Dylan, who is 8 months today and having heart surgery. Just wanted to let them know we are thinking about them today and praying for little Dylan.

November already?

It's hard to believe that it's November already. But then I think to myself, "is it February yet?" I am getting anxious already to meet our little girl and to know that I still have a little over three months left make it hard. I suppose I still have PLENTY to do to keep myself busy...not to mention a very busy toddler that is wearing me out! Landon is just go,go,go and has been spending some new time in "time-out". We are practicing how to behave and how not to behave. Very challenging for me and Chris, but I know we will get through it. Now, just to think, we only have what? three more years of him being a toddler. YIKES!!!! We are still having a great time with him and there isn't a day that goes by that he doesn't make us laugh. He is SO funny and we are having the best time watching him grow up and learn something new everyday. A couple stories and pictures for your enjoyment. The first picture: If you know Landon, one thing that you could say a
