Quinton:
Today was his two week well check, even though he is really three weeks today. His stats were good and he is very healthy!
His weight: 8 lbs. 13 oz. (which is two pounds up from when we left the hospital).
His height: 21 3/4 inches (which is a quarter of an inch longer than at birth).

He is such a "chill" baby. He just loves to look around now that his eye sight is a bit more controlled. He truly only cries when he needs his diaper changed, fed, or when he's falling asleep. He LOVES to have someone near him at all times and LOVES to have someone talk to him. From the beginning of week two, he really got into the routine of eating and falling back asleep during the night hours. He still takes a few, long naps during the day, which gives me time to spend with the older two kiddos. He is such a sweet baby and by far the easiest so far our of the three! I am blessed with that. As for what the toddler years will bring....I don't have to worry about that now because he won't be a toddler tomorrow.
We love you Quinton Everett!

LANDON SINGING TO QUIN BEFORE BED

HANGING OUT OUTSIDE AT PAPAW MARKS

A VISIT FROM OUR GOOD FRIEND TREVOR WHO LOVES BABIES, BUT REALLY LOVES WHEN THEY GROW UP AND CAN GET INTO TROUBLE!

A RECENT FAVORITE. GOT A PICTURE OF QUIN SMILING IN HIS SLEEP. SUCH A SWEET GRIN! MAKES ME TEAR UP EVERY TIME.

Alexa:
Our dear, sweet and sassy Alexa! Where do I begin? Such a spunky little thing she is who does NOT take NO for an answer. Which later on in life might be a good thing and might define her as determined. However, at this time in her life it's something that has been quite a challenge and something that we are really trying to kick in the butt before she thinks she can run this house! And rest assured, Chris and I will NOT let that happen! She loves to sing, dance, paint, help with Quin and chat on the phone, both for real and pretend. She is doing well at school and loves playing with her friends. She has adjusted very well. Last weekend she was especially grumpy and after a few days and a fever, we took her to the doctor to realize she had hand, foot, mouth. Yuck! Just a virus but NOT something I want in the house! I have been cleaning daily to keep Landon and Quin healthy, but there is only so much I can do.
We love you Alexa and are so blessed by your outgoing and funny personality!

Landon:
This boy could NOT love being a big brother to Quin anymore than he does. Such a big helper and truly loves his role and responsibility. We've had our days here lately with Landon and some behavior "stuff" but have worked our a reward system and are really trying to tune into keeping situations from happening before they escalate. So far, it's better. He is such a sweet kid and can really melt your heart, but can also be a challenge. But hey, life would be boring without a challenge every now and then.
We love you Landon. We love your heart and we love your silly sense of humor!

Lastly:
This past week, my good friend Carrie came into town from California and what a blessing that was. I have been trying and talking about going out to visit her, but her time to visit here came before that happened. What a huge help she was with house chores and keeping the kids busy and entertained. We truly enjoyed her time with us and are gonna miss her when she heads back home. They kids had a blast! We love you Auntie Carrie!

Here are some pictures of the kids frosting some cookies with Carrie:
