Our Christmas

Our Christmas was pretty busy, as most everyone's was I'm sure. We started our Holiday with a, for the most part, relaxing Christmas Eve. Landon helped make cookies for Santa and we talked about what was going to happen to the cookies and milk that we left on the fireplace. I wasn't too sure that he would really get it, although, we have been talking about Santa since spring I think when he found his "Polar Express" and christmas "I Spy" book. We told him that Santa would come down the chimney, leave some treats in his stocking and leave a few surprises under the tree. We would quiz him and he would answer back. The funny thing is, when I would ask him what Santa was going to leave him in his stocking, he would answer "candy cane". I thought, "wow, this kid doesn't want much, I think we can pull off a candy cane". Christmas Eve, before Landon went to bed, he helped pour the milk and carry the cookies to the fireplace and walked right up to bed. In the morning, the first thing he said to Chris was, "Santa cookies go?". Chris told him we better go downstairs and see where they went. He was SO excited to open his stocking and find much more than just a candy cane, but tickled to see that Santa did manage to leave a candy cane for him. He loved all of his surprises that were left under the tree and played with each one before he opened the next wrapped goodie. After relaxing and playing, we drove down to Indy and spent the evening with my mom. The day after Christmas, we celebrated Christmas with my mom, step-dad, brother, sister and niece. We then went to Chris parents house and spent Christmas there. We drove back up to Fort Wayne the next day and spent time with My dad, step-mom and sisters, brother and his wife and our niece. We celebrated Christmas and Landon opened more gifts and had lots of playtime with Grandpa Bill. We had an all around fun, busy, family filled holiday. Now, we just have to organize all his new and old toys...I just don't want to get rid of anything because Landon plays with all of his toys. We got some pretty good pictures of our holiday. Enjoy. If we didn't get to see you or talk to you this Christmas, please know you were thought of and we love you very much and hope you had a great Holiday. Love you all.
