Happy Anniversary!

Eleven years ago this year,I walked into my highschool Physics class and sat in front of a very good looking young man who just so happened to be Christopher Mobley. Five years ago today, I married him. When I think back to when Chris and I just met, I think of Friday night football games. I was in the colorguard and we did the halftime shows during football season. Christopher would meet me at the chain-length fence that entered into the field, where the band would sit. He would walk with me during my ten minute break and walk me back. He was such a gentlemen and treats me just as he did eleven years ago. There aren't many people in this world that can claim to be highschool sweethearts, and for that we are very proud. We've been through so much over the years and I wouldn't change anything. July 31, 2004 was one of the best days of my life. It was the beginning of our life as a couple and a family that soon followed. I couldn't be more blessed with where my life is right now. Thank you Christopher for being my heart and showing me unconditional love. You are a true gentlemen and I am honored to call you my husband. Thank you for two beautiful children and a family that I am very proud to call "ours". You mean the world to me and I am a better person for having you in my life...you are my life. Alexa Anne is Here!!!!!

Alexa Anne was born at around 6:00 p.m. this evening. After a bit of a scare of not being able to find her heartbeat, some oxygen and a page to my doctor to arrive ASAP, and about 6 or 7 pushes...she was born. She weighs 6 pounds even and is 20.5 inches long. She is so pettite and looks just like Chris and Landon. Go figure...here again, I am the one that labors and carries the babies and Chris gets all the credit. I'm sure she will change a bit in her looks as she has already changed since she was born. I feel great and empowered as I had to do everything I could to get her out quick because her heartrate dropped down to the 40's. VERY scary but thank God I had Mom and Chris in the roomt to get me through. They were great coaches. Enjoy the pictures. Second Day

Alright...well I'm not going to blog and number every day of Alexa's life, but I just thought I would update. Alexa's first night went alright I suppose. Chris and I layed down around midnight or so, and she decided that she wanted to get up. She was up until around 3:00 until 5:00 when the nurse woke me and told me to wake her up to feed her. I can tell you right now that I am not going to wake her up when we get home to feed her. She is going to sleep until she wakes up and tells me she is hungry. She seems to be a pretty good sleeper. She was awake so much last night because she had an upset tummy for a while. Let's just say everything in the bathroom department is working well:) She is eating SO well and I couldn't ask for it to be going any better. She is doing so good! Much better than Landon did which makes it easier for me. She has been alert more today than last night. Landon came to say goodbye to all of us and to see Alexa. He just loves her already and t...

This past weekend was an eventful one. We drove down for Mason's birthday party that was on Saturday. I wasn't feeling too great that morning and got sick, which I hadn't done in a while. I got sick again on the way to the party, then again when we got back to June and Mark's after the party, then again right before we took off back to Fort Wayne. I just couldn't figure out what was going on. From there, I got sick about every ten miles on the interstate as Chris pulled over, no kidding, about 14 times. I got sick a total of 20 times Saturday and late that night decided that it was time to go to the E.R. I was given two liters of fluid and some meds to keep me from throwing up. We were there for about four hours and then headed home. It took me a couple days to recover; I was so sore from getting sick so many times. Anywho...I was to follow up with my doctor. So, today we went to the doctor to make sure everything was alright with the baby after Saturday. Everything...
