a spider, a pink monster, a bear and a dragon

for halloween, we went to "trunk or treat" at our church and met up with our neice isabelle, who was a very scary dragon! It was really loud and Landon didn't really enjoy it all that much. There was a band playing and Landon does not do well in a loud environment. A good example, it took him several trips to the Children's museum before he would ride the merri-go-round because it was too loud. Anywho...he did have a good time after we went to everyone's trunk and got candy. He eventually warmed up and started crawling around like a little spider. Both he and isabelle weren't feeling too great, but did their best to have fun. We then went to the southside to celebrate with our beautiful niece, Sabrina, and our family out there. Sabrina was a sweet little bear. However, all the way to Jessica and Brian's house, Landon was crying and telling us how he did not want to trick-or-treat anymore and he didn't want to do halloween. We asked him why and he told us he didn't want to hear the loud music. We reassured him that there wouldn't be ANY music and that it would be nice and quiet and we were going to walk around the neighborhood and go to each door, say "trick-or-treat" and go on to the next house and get lots of candy. When we got there, we hung out for a little bit and then got the kids dressed. Wouldn't you know, the first house we go to has Michael Jackson's "thriller" playing loud over some speakers at the front door. Jessica laughed and told Landon she promised that was the only house that was going to have loud music. He gave her a pretty funny look and went and got his candy and skipped down the side walk. ALL the kids had a good time. Alexa LOVED the wagon ride and just chatted the whole time, especially when Sabrina sat with her in the wagon. We went to several houses and Landon and Sabrina made out good on their candy buckets. By the last few houses, Alexa was being carried and was cold and crying, my little spider was resting his head on my arm as he walked along side me and Sabrina got a shoulder ride from her daddy the rest of the way home. We just had a really good time with family and are so glad that we were able to get all the kids together to play and hang out on such a fun holiday like Halloween. Enjoy the pictures! I am borrowing the pictures from Jessica because my battery needs charged in my camera and by the time it charges I will forget to post them. So, thank you Jessica! If you want some good pictures of Landon in his costume...look at our pittsburg post. I am also posting a couple pictures from when went to the pumpkin patch with Jessica, Brian and Sabrina a few weeks ago. Until next time! Now, to tend to my little spider who has Strep Throat...explains several days with a fever and irritability:(
