and one more thing.....
A few things I've learned...
Being a Mom is one of the toughest jobs I've ever had. Even over the nasty job of cleaning the dorm room bathrooms in college, directing a summer camp for about 75 kids, and even working for an after school program with some pretty challenging kids! Though difficult at times, no reward is greater than that of being a Mom. I've also learned through being a Mom, that just when you think a routine is down pat, your child will decide that it's time for change when you least expect it. You might even think about the next few steps your going to take as a parent and as a family as a whole. The biggest thing I've learned about being a Mom is that I am not always in control and that in itself takes some adjusting. Chris and I have also recently learned something surprising that we are excited about...
We.......
Are.........
Pregnant!
One of life's many routine changes that is teaching us so much. Yes, we thought we were done having kids! And yes, this is surprising but exciting news! We are going to have another baby! Even though it wasn't something in OUR books, God is much bigger and will bless us yet again with another sweetie come June 2011! Landon is VERY excited and is looking forward to being a big brother for the second... (and last) time. So, SURPRISE! I'll keep up to date as much as I can. It's been rough so far and if you know, my previous pregnancies were the same, it's much different because I'm older and I have TWO to chase after this time. I wouldn't have it any other way and I can't wait to welcome this special surprise in the spring! We are certain this baby is meant to be in our family and we can't wait to see what joy it brings to our family!
